Antonio Zatta was an Italian cartographer and publisher. His two most famous works are Atlante Novissimo, published in 1779, and Nuovo Atlante, done in 1799. Atlante Novissimo was a five volume work that contained 216 full page engraved map sheets (4 of the world, 25 of the Americas, 2 of Australia, and 5 of cosmographic tables). Zatta's map of New Zealand was the first atlas maps to show Cook's discoveries.
