Andrews was a 19th century engraver whose subjects range from beautifully rendered wine grapes to spectacular botanicals. He is particularly known for his botanical illustrations and contribution to the E.G. Henderson & Son publication, "The Illustrated Bouquet." This publication was executed on a scale much grander than other periodicals of the time, and is so rare that only one complete set is recorded as having sold at auction over the past twenty-five years.
