BIOGRAPHY OF JESOPHAT ASPIN
Jesophat Aspin was a British historian whose career flourished in the first half of the 19th century, specifically from 1805-1840. He produced maps to accompany his own Systematic Analysis of Universal History, 1816-1820 (2 volumes). His maps can also be found in John Thompsns New General Atlas, 1828; C.V. Lavoises Genealogical, Historical and Chronological Atlas, 1814; Artic Regions for John Thompson, 1822; A course of geography, by means of instructive games, invented by the Abbe Gaultir&by John Olding Butler, 1822; An Improved moveable Planisphere, 1844.
