Jesophat Aspin was a British historian whose career flourished in the first half of the 19th century, specifically from 1805-1840. He produced maps to accompany his own Systematic Analysis of Universal History, 1816-1820 (2 volumes). His maps can also be found in John Thompsns New General Atlas, 1828; C.V.
