Philip Prowse, considered a maverick genius, transformed stage and costume design from Salzburg to Glasgow in the last half of the twentieth century. HIs prize winning innovative designs for the stage & ballet were cited as having "no equal". A teacher and director as well, his work with the Glasgow Citizens Theatre Company has influenced theater productions worldwide.
