Phillip Cluverius [Cluver, Cluvier, Kluver], was geographer of Danzig in Germany during the early 17th century. He specialized in ancient geography, particularly of Italy and Germany. Later works were published posthumously by Elzeiver. His Introductio in universam geographiam, 1624, was published susequently in many later editions. Bibliography: Tooley's Dictionary of Mapmakers.
