Not much is known about the personal life of Ruth Mary Hallock, but she is well known for beautiful children's book illustrations. Hallock's artwork appears in such books as "Storyland" (1930), by Hazel Gertrude Kinscella, and "A Child's Garden of Verses" (1919), by Robert Louis Stevenson.
