Yoshitora was a Japanese, Ukiyo-e style, printmaker whose work flourished between 1850 and 1880. He is most famous for Yokohama prints which depict foreigners and their technological inventions, although many of his prints contain conventional subjects such as historical scenes, Japanese legends, and views of Tokyo.
