Peninsula Childrens' Art Exhibit: Benefit for ART IN ACTON

Sunday, October 9th 2-5 pm Join NATURE GALLERY & LYONS LTD. at Palo Alto's Town & Country Village in a benefit for ART IN ACTION, a local volunteer organization bringing art into Bay Area schools since 1982.
Lyons Ltd & Nature Gallery will be offering special promotions over the weekend and donating a percentage of all weekend sales to the charity.
WINE, WOMEN & SONG: The Joys of Conviviality
October 15, 2011 - January 15, 2012
Our Fall Show at the Gallery is entitled "Wine, Women & Song". It features original etchings, engraving & lithographs focusing on the intertwining of these elements in celebrating the joys of life. The show includes images of vineyards & wine making, illustrations by Arthur Rackham for his first edition of Wagner's operas Das Rheingold & De Valkyrie, Daumier lithographs on the perils of growing grapes, Cheret Art Nouveau lithographs depicting fun & frolic in the Paris clubs of the 1890's and a Picasso aquatint of the head of Bacchus, the god of wine.
