Since 1968, Lyons Ltd. Antique Prints has been an active player in the antiques and fine arts world. From its inception, the firm has maintained two objectives: first, to provide a resource of fine and decorative prints for both retail and trade clients and finally, to provide a high level of customer and educational services. Articles by the Lyons have been published in Country Living, Antiques West, House Beautiful, Designer West, Journal of the Print World, Art & Antiques Weekly and in the catalogues of The Newport Harbor Art Museum Antiques Show and The Caramoor Antiques Show. In addition, the Lyons have lectured frequently at antiques shows and have led numerous workshop presentations on the identification and valuation of antique prints for The American Society of Appraisers and The International Society of Appraisers.
Today, Lyons Ltd. continues to be one of the largest and oldest companies dealing in fine period graphics in the United States. Although the Lyons exhibit nationally at fine art and antiques shows, the beautiful gallery in Palo Alto, CA continues to be at the heart of the business.
